Over the weekend we (my iPhone 4 and I) visited Hearst Castle in San Simeon, California. During a tour of Casa Grande, in the Morning Room, the iPhone got all excited. It spied a funny looking device sitting on an end table with wires protruding from its sides. On talking to the tour guide, we learnt that is was a circa 1932, almost 80 year old telephone. My iPhone wondered, "Wow, this thing has no screen, just a funny looking dial. And it just has to sit there all day. But it is, in a way, the reason I exist. I've got to have a picture taken together."
And so, here goes - a picture of my approximately 8 month old iPhone 4, with an approximately 80 year old telephone, probably created by Alexander Graham Bell.
